Building Strong Teams, Empowering Change, and Leading with Purpose.

Driven by a passion for leadership and community, I’ve led initiatives that foster growth, mentorship, and organizational success, impacting lives for the better.

Leadership is more than just directing others; it is about inspiring, guiding, and creating an environment where individuals can thrive and work towards common goals. I have had the opportunity to cultivate leadership skills in various professional and volunteer roles. My experience as a youth worker, foster parent, and advocate for youth aging out of foster care, combined with my work in nonprofit organizations, has shaped my leadership philosophy and demonstrated my ability to drive impact in challenging environments.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of leading with purpose and vision, whether in professional roles or through volunteer service. As I young adult, I spent 10 years as a youth worker, where I provided direction for a program that deeply impacted teens by focusing on learning, service, and personal accountability. I organized a dedicated team of around 30 volunteers who together reached and engaged more than 150 youth each year, fostering meaningful relationships along the way. In addition, I mentored teen girls, guiding their leadership development and encouraging personal growth, while also equipping other mentors to do the same.

In my role as Director of Operations at Immerse Arkansas, I led the strategic restructuring of financial operations and human resources. As our organization grew, I developed and implemented workflows that increased operational efficiency, always ensuring alignment with the broader organizational goals. By using data-driven insights, I identified areas for improvement and introduced solutions that enhanced our capacity to serve the community.

Serving as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Maumelle, I managed executive office functions, maintained key stakeholder relationships, and helped ensure strategic initiatives aligned with available resources. This experience strengthened my ability to work closely with leadership and manage high-level priorities, while maintaining focus on the mission at hand.

My passion for building community and managing volunteer efforts deepened further in my role as Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations at Central Arkansas Christian School. I had the opportunity to coordinate volunteer initiatives and build lasting relationships that directly aligned with our mission, always working to elevate our community through collaboration and shared vision.

Through my professional and volunteer roles, I have developed a leadership style that is rooted in empathy, advocacy, and collaboration. Whether working directly with vulnerable youth, managing complex organizational initiatives, or mentoring emerging leaders, I strive to create environments where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute to a shared mission. Leadership is about more than directing others—it is about inspiring positive change and ensuring that the systems we build today will continue to serve those in need for years to come.
