Potential donors want to feel connected to the nonprofits they support, but for organizations like CAC—an independent K-12 school—safeguarding protected populations can limit access. For the Giving Day campaign, "Count Me In!" on November 9, 2023, Sarah overcame this challenge by leveraging technology, strategic communication, and engagement tactics to boost community involvement and exceed fundraising goals.

The "Count Me In!" campaign was an overwhelming success, far surpassing all previous giving day campaigns, more than doubling the school’s donor base. Key achievements include:

  • Total Donations and Pledges: $629,404 (including the match)

  • Faculty/Staff Participation: 80%

  • Family/Parent Participation: 61%

  • Total Donations Made: 439

By combining thoughtful strategy and technology, Sarah created a campaign that connected donors to the cause, helping the school raise more money and secure more partnerships than ever before.
